One Love HIV/AIDS Awareness Theater (One Love) blends dance, theater, music and gymnastics to disseminate HIV/AIDS awareness messages, promote gender equality and call for an end to female circumcision. Free for audiences in market-places and schools throughout Ethiopia, One Love performances serve as a dynamic vehicle to educate Ethiopians of all ages and walks of life about the threat of HIV and harmful traditional practices. One Love workshops educate Ethiopian youth and empower them to find their own voice through making art. Over the last eight years One Love has performed for hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians - from the refugee camps of Assosa to the Ethiopian National Theater.
One Love will be touring Ethiopia's Southern Regions in
June and August of 2012, partnering with 25 local health agencies and offering performances and workshops through the year. To book or sponsor performances and workshops contact
